What if Regina was so outraged by Hansel and Gretel's descision to turn down her hospitality that she curses them to be her adoptive children during the first dark curse. 

In Storybrooke, Maine, Hansel and Gretel are Ava and Nicholas Mills, the adoptive children of the powerful mayor. However, when a woman named Emma Swan and her son Henry, find their way into Storybrooke on her twenty eighth birthday, Ava and Nicholas realize their mother is hiding secrets darker than they originally thought. As Regina is desperately try to keep the curse from being broken, a blue-eyed man who was a theif in his past life, manages to weasel his way into Reginas life. Regina knows if this theif knew who she really was, he could never love her, which only causes Regina to fight harder against Emma and her destiny of being the savior.

Once the Swan trio and Mary Margaret have all returned back to Storybrooke with their families, unknown to them that Cora and Captain Hook had found their own to Storybrook and were ready to cause chaos. It isn't long before Mr Gold was soon ready to cash in his favour with the Swan trio, to find his son, Mr Gold, Faye, Katy, Elaine, Emma, Julia and Henry travelled to New York City.
