Arie is the type of girl who would definitely prefer to talk to a wall instead of a real, living, breathing human. Actually, Arie might not even prefer talking to the wall. She enters a Culinary Academy where she unexpectedly encounters a type of person she hates the most. Almost the complete opposite of her, Gii is a lively person and he loves to tease people. Once he starts to get annoying, there's only 20% chance of him stopping. But what would happen if the two of them were put in the same class? Flying knives? Clash of scorching hot non-stick pans? A rainstorm of boiling soup stocks? How terrifying.. Kitchen hell love-hate?! They don't go together at all! Like pineapples on pizza? Maybe. Like fries dipped on a sundae? More or less. A rather cliché-kind of love story but with lots and lots of twists, laughter, hunger, and tears.

"I don't have to listen to you" I said crossing my arms over my chest. "Oh but you have to." A smirk pulling at his lips as he took a step closer to my small figure, "I am twice your height," he leaned down to my ear to whisper "And I always get what I want." A shiver went down my spine when he said that, but I can't let him know I have weakened. "Well I'm sorry to disappoint you, but your streak is about to end" I said turning around to walk to my room. "And you exaggerated, you aren't double my height." I say over my shoulder. He put his hands on my waist before I could take a step, and he turned me back around "Oh pepe you just made a mistake. You are challenging me, and you will lose." "I am not challenging you, I'm just not someone you can control." I said trying to squirm out of his grip. "Watch your back." Is all he whispers before he heads into his room chuckling. _____ Aubrey is entering college and her parents made her share an apartment with her older brother and his roommate. Mia Graham. I've always thought of the world to be a good place. The people in it as well. This man is definitely intimidating and a bit scary but I see how sweet and caring he is. He shows me a lot but he hides even more. He thinks he's the dark and he's determined to show me that he's not worth my time. But he doesn't understand he's all I'll ever want. He doesn't get that I love every dark piece of him. I want everything. But I don't know if he'll let me have it all. Ryder Carson. The world is a terrible place. The people might be worse. That's all I've ever known. But this woman is a masterpiece. An angel. This world is unworthy of her light. These people get to bask in it when all they deserve is to be scalded. He usually prefers his employees to be less...bubbly. Energetic. A little more like him, essentially. But there was something about her the moment she introduced herself. Maybe it was the way she looked at him, or the way she smiled at everyone in her line of sight, who knows. But, whatever the reason is, he hates it. He hates that he gave into that feeling when he met her. She manages to find her way into his mind 24/7, unlike any woman ever has. She doesn't think she's ever seen someone as angry at the world as him. He can be rude and he doesn't always think about other's feelings before he speaks. A scowl somehow is always set on his face, like he was born that way. For any other person, a man like that would make you want to simply ignore him. But not her. She has her heart set on making him smile. Even just a little. Maybe even a laugh. And she is not giving up any time soon.
