What Fate Brings Us

A boy went up to me, and I asked,

"Hello? What's your name? I think I have met you before?..."

He replied,

I saw a girl, and she looks familiar.

I approached her and after I replied back, she told her name by exchange,

She answered,

"I'm Jasper." That name sounds familiar to me.

"My name is Caroline." It's like I know that name before.

'I think I know who this person is,...' I thought, curious.

'I think I can remember who she was,...' I think, questioning.

"You are..." I can't hold back my tears,...

"You're..." I feel broken up and torn inside,...

"...Why did fate have to end it like this?"

"...What did I do to meet a terrible fate in the end?"

"I don't remember you,... Who are you?" I smiled being friendly to the boy,

"I have forgotten, What's your name again?" I kindly asked the girl politely,
