A group of seven teenagers get stuck in an old and creepy house because of a kidnapper who forced them to come. The only way to get out of the house is to play the kidnapper's sick game. Each day they spend in that house, one of them will die. So at most, they will be trapped there for a week. But, there's a twist. My neighbour's house is normal. There are two stories, stairs, and a tiny porch. A red door, and many windows with pretty crimson shutters. My neighbour's house is normal. The lights are on when they need to be, and off when they don't. The grass is mown, and there are sometimes cars in the driveway. My neighbour's house is normal. Sometimes I can see into some of the rooms. Always when I'm not really trying. The rooms are nice, with a warm colour scheme and polished wooden furniture. There is one room that is entirely white. A bare bulb swings from the ceiling. From the outside, I can see no furniture. The walls are old and stained.. There are no shutters on that window. My neighbour's house is normal. I see them sometimes. They're gone most of the day. We wave when we see each other, coming or going. Those two seem nice. Didn't they used to have a son about my age? My neighbour's house is normal. They turn off their lights about the same time we do. Except in that one room. The lights in the white room stay on late each night. I tried to watch them, once, to see how late they stayed on. I fell asleep. When I woke up, they were already off. My neighbour's house is normal. Sometimes I hear sounds from the house. Almost like muffled screams. Life, the most realistic, in-depth, virtual reality game on the market. The game lets people go into the video game and do a plethora of things. For example, survival games. On the 10th anniversary of the game, Doctor studios, the company that made the game, decided to host an event. Across the world, tournaments will be held, to see who can survive the longest in their game. Being given 100 days, a hundred players per tournament must survive. The rework for doing so is 100000 dollars and the opportunity to play in the bigger tournaments and win more money. But that 100000 dollars will be divided amongst the survivors, which meant that players would be battling amongst themselves to get the money for themselves. In one of these tournaments, was a boy who lived in a small town. After arguing with his friends, the boy ends up competing for solo without them. Ten years later, the champion Caedes returns for a second year at this esteemed campus with the fame of defeating the Forman Online Final Boss and the glory of winning the championship of the same game in his resume, none of these can seem to pick him up after the loss of his lover Jalis, who has sacrificed herself for him.
