We Are Soldiers

Rex looked at me his helmet hiding his expression.
"This might be our last mission under the Jedi, Storm." He says.
I smile tilting my head to the side. I had been trained as a Jedi and then I trained to become a Clone. I knew the routine.
"So?" I say moving closer. The only thing between us was Rex's uniform and his helmet. I pressed my forehead to his helmet holding it.
"If this is our last Captain..Then I won't go down without a fight."
Rexs hands were at my waistline.
"Yea." He says, "If we are overrun don't attempt to rescue me. Understand?"
I looked at Rex darkly.
"You know I cant promise that." I say feeling his gloves touch my hips causing me to dip forward against the cool white material of his suit.
"It's like telling me not to breathe."
I smiled innocently as I slipped his helmet off his head.
