My Summer of Writing and Stuff
The summer of my 5th grade year, my mum made me and my sisters type a page of something everyday. She didn't care what we typed, as long as we were writing and creating something. At first, I saw it as torture, so I tried so leave as many spaces as possible in my writing to fill up the pages faster. Eventually, I started to enjoy writing the stories, and now that I look back at them (as much as I hate to admit it) it actually wasn't that bad. This book contains everything I wrote during that time, and I didn't change a single word as I transferred the stories from my computer. There aren't as many stories as you would think, because I didn't write for the entire summer, but there's quite a few. Some are short stories while others are longer, but I hope you enjoy all of them. It's quite a mess, really. And I'm not joking when I say that. (I used the Canva app to create the cover. "Oh this? This book is so interesting." Suddenly Nom grabbed the book and read the title loudly. 'How to recognize your own potential?' They both looked at me like I murdered someone. "What is this? Are you crazy or something? Where did you even find this?" Pete asked. "I'm trying to figure out why they selected me to the super 7 project" I answered. "And why did you think you'd get an answer by reading fantasy books?" Nom questioned. "I don't know okay? I have to start somewhere. Also our library is full of these kind of books." "What you guys actually do in this class anyway? Do they teach you how to pass exams easily or something?" Pete asked "Also, whenever we ask anything about this class, you just make up some excuses and disappear" Nom joined him. "I don't know what we're doing there either.
