Lily Santinette has always been just another "red rat" in a world ruled by the silver blooded nobles. As far as reds go, she's had the worst luck. She lives in the polluted slum of gray town, where reds work in factories day and night, plagued by poverty and pollution sicknesses. The conditions of her town are awful enough that most residents would give anything to be sent to the war, despite being some of the only reds without mandatory conscription. In a town where smog and pollutants are trapped in by barrier trees, Lily has never even seen the sun. But what happens when mysterious circumstances give Lily a chance to leave her life as a "gray town techie" behind and explore the outside world? After all she's gone through, how will it be to finally have a chance see the sun?

"We shouldn't play with fire, Rooh," He spoke near my ears, pecking my jawline. I was breathing erratically unable to encompass my perturbation. "What if I want to play with it?" I said, my voice sensual, subduing my thudding heart. His hand went to my waist, and he squeezed it, kneading it. "It will burn you, Rooh. You don't know the vehemence of the burning blaze. It will eradicate your existence," His voice was dark and titillating, making me shudder at the intenseness. "What if I want it to deplete me? What if I want to get burned in this vehemence of burning blaze?" I contested. "Think before you articulate anything, Rooh. I am not a manageable man." "I don't like manageable things, Dev." "Once you are mine, I will never allow you to go. You will be mine in every fucking birth," He spoke out possessively. "I want to be yours in my every birth, Prince Dev Pratap Singh." ******************************************** Destiny - predetermined state or end. Destiny is not a matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for. It is a thing to be achieved. Ruhanika Sharma is a simple girl with a filmmaking degree who loves history and lives in a fantasy world. Despite the challenges she faced throughout her life, she never lost her innocence and finds joy in the little things. Upon abruptly discovering herself in a distinct realm wherein all individuals are donning customary attire and preparing to greet the Crown Prince of Magadh, what transpires? What happens when she realizes she is in the past, specifically 800 years ago, rather than the present? What would happen if she attracted the interest of Prince Dev Pratap Singh, the Crown Prince of Magadh? How was she going to return to her own time? Moreover, what happens if she decides against returning? What if they were able to find comfort in one another? What will be their destiny?
Perfect World Somewhere by Holly_Gonzalez

"Perfect World Somewhere" is now a Featured Sci Fi novel! Thank you to the Wattpad team and all of you fantastic readers and friends who have made my millennium ;) I hope this story inspires and uplifts others as much as it has me. *** Lily Fairpoole is a girl of many talents. Gifted with a brilliant mind and a beautiful singing voice, she excels at an early age, working as her father's apprentice in their robotic maintenance shop. Her loving family and complacent life in the rural town of Plumgrove are sheltered from the outside world, though the War with the Pruessian Empire has raged across Earth for two generations. Even the most peaceful havens fall on Black Sky Day, as the robotic armies of the Kaezer devastate the homeworld. Faced with overwhelming destruction, Lily and her loved ones begin a journey driven by sacrifice, and the will to remain free. Lily's struggle takes her to the strongholds of the resistance, the dreaded ration camps of the enemy, the glittering and powerful off-world colonies, and finally to the Ruby lift--the swanky and yet often chaotic space elevator operated by the Royal Crown Orbital Plaza and Resort. Chromed and streamlined rocketships, heroic robots, brave revolutionaries, flappers, and plenty of jazz! A blend of early twentieth century eras and possible futures, as well as a coming-of-age story, this is the first complete novel in my retrofuturistic "Family of Earth" series. This novel is in revision status, so please feel free to comment and leave any feedback. Note: This story contains violence and dark situations, in an apocalyptic setting.
Daffodils and Hyacinths (Book 3 of the Forgotten Truths Series) by Contrastgaze
29 parts Complete Mature
"One small incident can ruin or change a person's life - Now imagine a storm," Dusty winds spit at Sun'Tribe and her people. Cramped, multiple families are forced to huddle in one of the ruins; the only remaining proof of the original four tribes that used to stand. "Unifying us all is what should make us less insecure about ourselves, but our differences are what makes each one of us unique; special," In Sun'Tribe, everyone is the same. No traditions, no religion, no abilities, no culture, not even the way someone dresses themselves can be different. Dull, brown clothes, with hair cut down and pulled back in a simple manner. Difference is only for their Leader. The supreme ruler who never goes hungry, and lives in a large palace just for herself. It isn't until two lowly commoners take in the last of the outcasts, that their world sees a future of life again. ~*~ Written by the beas-TEAS, @EChO11111111111 (old acc: Echo__IsNoFurry) and @Ripplestream11 ; also credit to our friend who is not comfortable sharing her name (As of right now, Echo's account isn't working, AGAIN, so check both for updates) You don't have to read the other previous two books of this series to understand this book. "Forgotten Truths" is more of a backstory-based book, for the old tribes and some of the characters, which takes place a little over a decade before "Daffodils and Hyacinths", and the main details to understand this book are in "The Place where Dreams Fade," but if you're new, you should be caught up after reading 'TRIBES AND RULERS' and the Prologue. Updates might be a little irregular depending on our schedule We all hope you choose to give "Daffodils and Hyacinths" a go! NOTE: This book is not a fanfic, nor does it have any relation to "The Last Airbender" or "Legends of Korra". We definitely do see how it can be related to that, but we did not intend for that to be the outcome. Thank you!

Never have I ever felt so scared, so vulnerable, so easy to get killed... ... Everything looked like ants when she appeared... even the tallest buildings I knew of couldn't reach up to her feet. She was so heavy even the ground itself would shake, as if the earth itself was shaking in fear. She was more powerful than everything we've ever seen and known. Even X. Even Two. Even me. I've seen monsters before, and I... guess I'm monster myself, but... she was different. Something from a different planet, a different universe... a monster that changed everything about me. She changed everything about us. Even if she was gone... I would still remember her. Hear her. Feel her. Her. ... Why... ...did this happen to us?"

What if Evangeline didn't set Mare free? So, essentially it's kind of a what would have happened type of Fanfic. There are going to be a couple of inconsistencies in the story, but just roll with it please! I'm also going to try to make it as perfect (grammar wise) as possible. There are many triggering things so you have been warned. Enjoy this story!!! :D (Also I don't ship Mareven. I just need certain things for the plot.) P.S. I DO NOT own the Red Queen characters in any shape or form. Excluding a few later on, 85% of the characters are owned by the amazing Victoria Aveyard. Also, thanks to my sis @sherlockiandemigod for the new cover!
