An excerpt from Dream Remembrance:

...But that was it, she could feel the presence of different things around and even a presence of stuff she couldn't see or put a name to. Closing her eyes she hoped to get a nights rest without any wakening dreams that weren't quite dreams.

**Running through the nearby forests you could feel something coming towards you but you knew you wouldn't be able to fight this Bandit. Or so you thought it was one coming after you for stealing the last part you needed for the X-wing... No weapon with you, you knew you had to out run the person because a fight wasn't going to end in your favor. 
You could only see a dark silhouette of someone with the dawning sun behind them. A low glow of red from their saber pointing at the ground. Leaning back against the tree you could feel something hot against your hip latched under your leather belt. It felt familiar yet strangely new. You pulled at the hilt seeing it was a saber of your own, one you could remember creating as a younger teen. About to activate it it was pulled from your hands and flew through the air. You jumped from around the tree only to hear the figure say in an almost roboticly changed voice "I have found you, now you are mine. No one to help you like they did that Scavenger." they took one more step closer...**

I heard him. Barely, but I did. Those three words I had been hearing in my vision repeatedly throughout the years. You. Are. Mine. I trembled upon hearing those three words. I could feel his hunters gaze fixed upon my form, I was his prey. I stared back at him, recognizing so many details that I had seen in my visions. "Take off your mask, monster! Show me your face for you are in the presence of royalty! I am Princess Sylvari Alvaross of the Royal Light Bloodline. Respect will be shown!" I said haughtily. Without hesitation, Kylo knelt on one knee and began to take of his mask. A quick hiss came from a mechanism on his helmet as he slowly peeled it off to reveal his face. I was stunned. He had black shoulder length hair, dark hazel eyes that stared into my soul, the body of man well trained, and a strong nose. I was expecting a literal monster to appear before me. I had judged him too soon, his looks might have been appealing but his aura was as black as they come. He spoke firmly with intrigue in his eye; "Princess Sylvari Alvaross of the Royal Light Bloodline I have come to claim what is mine by destiny, you." I rose from my bed and walked straight up to him at the edge of my force field. "I am owned by no one," I huffed. With an evil chuckle he stood up; "My name is Kylo Ren, Master of the Knights of Ren, and Commander of The First Order," He said proudly. "Kylo...Ren. Finally, a name for the monster that plagued my visions," I thought internally. "Whatever power you think you have to stop me with, princess, I will break through and by the end of today I will have you in my grasp." He said confidently. My earliest memory is pain. Pain of losing a mother, pain of losing the love of a father, pain from the isolation that happened after the incident. I am reminded by others that what happened on that day was an accident and it wasn't my fault, but deep down I know what truly happened and so does my father and brothers. The deep self-anger and self-hate I have was slowly consuming me until I was taken away by General Organa and the Resistance. My life was beginning to look brighter, until the day I was kidnapped by the First Order. This is where my story neither begins nor ends. This is when my story becomes dark, so dark that even a Sith Lord would tremble in fear. I don't own the Star Wars universe (duh) but I do own the main character and those that are not from SW. There will be spoilers, but the storyline might diverge a bit from the original plot from the films.

This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version.
