Hayley Miller is 18 years old and lives in Mystic Falls. She has no family as her parents died when she was young and she was tuned into a vampire in 1990 when she was 18 years old. Her best friend Gemma has been turned into a vampire by Damon Salvatore.
Hayley is forced to move in with the Salvatore brothers now that she has no home. She struggles to get Gemma to turn her emotions back on but with the help of Stefan will It be done?
