SPOILER (do not read if you haven't finished the manga) - Historia Reiss (Christa) is not the princess/queen in this story; that's all I've changed.
I know the description is long, but PLEASE read it all; you may like what the story is about.
Myra is a 28-year-old woman who lives by herself in a cottage. She lives a normal life, but one day, she receives some news. She has been notified that she is to marry the current king.
Myra is dazed; she doesn't want to marry anyone, let alone the king! Why was I even chosen? she thought. There must be some reason. But she doesn't care the reason. She is not marrying anyone.
She pretends to agree to go to the palace immediately in the morning; not letting anyone see that she is distressed about the situation. On her journey, she runs to an abandoned cottage out by farm land where no one will ever find her. Good, she thought, now no one will ever find me and I can just live by stealing the farm's food little by little; no one will notice.
The palace sends a search for her. They send no other than the Survey Corps' best team. Will they be able to locate her? Only time will tell.
Myra successfully keeps hidden for a couple days, but when a mysterious man shows up, she doesn't know what to do. Myra loses her consciousness and wakes up only to be......tied in a closet? Was this man nota part of her search party? She screams for help, but the man will not show his face nor will he tell her what he wants. She's just....locked in a closet. Myra realizes soon enough that this man had bad intentions, and kidnapped her.
Every night, Myra has a reoccurring dream. She sees a man standing away from her with a Survey Corps uniform on. Is it really a dream? Will they find her before it's too late?

This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. The titan she had befriended was killed and after being named Ria, she was taken back into the walls. Ria was finally accepted and trained by Levi. She seemed to have a confused mind for she kept thinking that titans were her family. However, after an incident, her thoughts became clear. Ria is now trying to fit the puzzle pieces together for her identity and the truth. Why was Ria living outside the walls? How could she befriend the titans? What was her past?
