In 3033 marks are used to identify everyone in the north sector. You get your mark when your 14. It goes on your face and grows from there. Marks can tell people everything you need to know about a person, and every year its updated.
Quinn was born special she always knew. She saw the things no one else saw. No one believed her. On her 13th birthday she knows some things very wrong. She doesn't know what but has a sneaking suspicion that it has to do with the marks. The closer it gets to her 14th birthday the more sure becomes.
Tyler is the perfect child. He always does everything he's supposed to. Only when his 14th birthday and his marking day grow closer does he start to rebel. He knows the secret behind the marks. He knows the truth. Only one small catch... Tyler supposedly dead.
