Cali was born to surf. She trained her whole life to be a competitive surfer. One day whilst practicing, she's attacked by a shark, nearly following death and his friends. After the attack, she doesn't want to talk to anyone, even her boyfriend who practically saved her from dying. She wants to turn a new leaf over and start fresh. So her parents leave America, and move to Australia, hoping to forget the incident that traumatized Cali.
