The Last of My Kind

I always thought the death of humans would come from the sky, or floods, but the death of my kind came from us. We polluted the Earth so much it absorbed our poisons. Now, instead of producing air half the plants produce a poison only deadly to us. I am the last human. I can't survive all the odds unless I find the kind animals. A lot of animals evolved into beasts. Foxes the size of cars, badgers fierce and the size of bears, and rats the size of buildings. I must find the loyal wolves, the black panthers that hide watching humans die, but can't do anything about it, the strong tigers that are said to be able to protect all, and the coyotes that can now speak little English. This is my last hope. I am Twilight. My name suits me, because I am the last ray of light for humans before the dark abyss.
