Emma Fields has just moved from Toronto, Ontario to a quiet neighbourhood in Rosewood Pensylvania and is a little nervous to have to start a new life with new friends. That quickly changes when she meets a group of friends in the neighbourhood. She catches her eye on a baseball boy that lives across the street from her.

Benny Rodriguez never expected to meet someone that summer, but he can't help but notice her too and they eventually find out that they have a lot in common.
