Nothing is what it seems in the life of Aurora Deva as she is forced from her home from the king and is to be married off to his son, Sebastian. Not knowing the full reason to her arranged marriage, she is determined to get to the bottom of it. A secret is among the royal family and she is in denial for nothing of the sort can exist. She fights to keep herself from Sebastian because he is the one being she shouldn't allow herself to trust, but she falls under his spell and gives her heart away even if the outcome could be her death.
Sebastian Daman is not what he seems, and he is oh so eager to inform Aurora all the dangers and fears and beliefs she never thought existed, now are forced to share her bed. Little did he know as Sebastian begins to fight off the demon within him and allow himself to find comfort within Aurora's arms did he expect his heart to be robbed from him. Is he capable of the love his father was not?
Both Aurora and Sebastian fight each others demons as secrets are reveled and lives are lost. As they both try to resist the urge to be with one another, will they find a happiness within the darkness that has become their lives?
