Renesmee and Jacob have gotten something that they've always wanted: kids. The Volturi aren't happy with the hybrid children, they thought Renesmee was a threat, being half vampire, half human. Now, being the first of their kind, they don't know how to fully assess the danger of the vampire/werewolf/human children. The life of the Blacks isn't exactly what you would call "normal", almost everything is a secret from humans, but it's a secret that they're all willing to keep. If it means they can be together forever.
