If you are a fan of the TV series Sherlock then you may like this, or want to kill me for putting you through uneccessary trauma. I don't know if anybody will like how this is written but the point of veiw will change multiple times in this story and I'm not going off of the show for this one because I have found that to be more difficult. Some of you may recognize phrases that are said in the show and some of you may not, but this doesn't follow the events of the series. Just an idea that I wanted to put into words. I do not own Sherlock or any of the characters from the show (or the books for that matter), but the plot of this story is mine.

" Where are you? " It seemed as though John was talking to no one. Just a man in the middle of the streets yelling like a mad man. Such a great sight. " I've watched you since you were born but it's obvious that you haven't fully grasped that you cannot see me unless I want you to see me. For someone that has a college degree I would expect more from you. " John scoffed at the deep baritone voice insulting him. " For someone that has supposedly watched me my whole life, I would have assumed that you would have some type of sympathy for me. Besides, I've seen you before. You just choose to hide. " " I'm only like this because I know that you can handle it. You've dealt with me for this long and I'm hiding from you to save you. " He was right. John have dealt with him for a long time. But he was tired of not knowing who he truly was. The voice knew everything about John while John knew nothing about him. " Can you at least tell me your real name, S? " The nickname sent shivers down John's spine since he hadn't called the voice that in years. " Wow, you do remember. But the name is Sherlock Holmes. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go back to being unknown. " John felt a gust of wind hit him which signaled that Sherlock had once again vanished to who knows where. John's guardian angel sure was a charmer. Always knew how to get them. John could say this though. Sherlock Holmes was one angel that intrigued him in ways he didn't know were possible. But he liked it. - In which a guy named John has a guardian angel named Sherlock follow him around for practically his whole life who will help him reach his life goal that everyone needs to complete. Empty. Baker Street, and the entirety of the City of London, is empty. The streets are no longer busy with cars or pedestrians; it's deserted. When Sherlock comes from being in his Mind Palace for longer than he thought for a case he was solving, he finds out that a sudden apocalypse has taken over London, and a mysterious disease has plagued half the population, and they litter the streets. To his horror, John is somehow caught with the disease. The consulting detective finds himself on the most dangerous, and overwhelming case he has ever been on, one that will test his love for John. And that case is to find a cure for his best friend before he loses him to the strange, apocalyptic disease forever. What if the perfect duo of Holmes and Watson had met differently? What if John had been hired by Mycroft to look after his little brother? What if... "Mr. Holmes," John exclaimed with astonishment written across his features. "You can't be serious." "This isn't complicated, I assure you. All that I'm requesting is for you to befriend my brother and become his flat-mate. You will still have your regular life. Your past with the MI-6 will become rather useful with protecting Sherlock from harm with his array of detective work and crime fighting." John couldn't ignore the way his heart's jumped at the last part. He struggled to keep his face straight and look at this rationally. "And what if your brother doesn't like me? We might not be friends." Mycroft sighed. "Then I will remove you from this job and ask someone else to try," he replied smoothly. John was going to reject the offer when Mycroft interrupted. "Mr. Watson, I am aware that you want something more then your dull civilian life. This is the offer that you've been waiting for." Still uncertain, John wavered. He decided to at least take a look at the file Mycroft handed him seconds ago. Nothing caught his eye as he flitted mindlessly through the pages. Then his eyes landed on the photo and John's breath caught in his throat. To be very clear, I do not own Sherlock or any of the Sherlock characters. This is a work of fan-fiction. I actually wrote this a year and a half ago, months before The Abominable Bride premiered, but I've always been too scared to post it. But now, only three days before the premiere of Sherlock Season 4, if I'm ever going to post it, it has to be now, before Season 4 either confirms or contradicts what I have written here. Basically, Mary has her baby, but Moriarty returns to take his revenge. This story is very angsty, but it gets better towards the end, despite a well-loved character meeting her death. There is some Johnlock and some Sherlolly, so shippers of those ships might have some mixed feelings about this story. This story has been written as a screenplay.Complete
