Kiara is an orphan living in the care of the druids in the forest of Mercia, attempting to control her magic at a time when witchcraft is outlawed by every king in the land. She's a born fighter and an experienced warrior from a young age, but her world changes when she dons male armour and becomes a knight at the court of King Arthur himself. If she is discovered, she will be killed, both as a woman and as a witch.
