When Marinette is selected to star as the lead in the new ballet called "The Masked Muses" she has conflicted feelings. After all, it wasn't like she could tell anyone that she was Ladybug, the staring female muse. The directors claimed it added to the mystery of the show if the reveal of the muses, (the other being Chat Noir,) happened opening night, on stage.
Marinette didn't care about mystery, she wanted to tell her friends Alya, Nino, and Nathanael, not to mention telling her new crush, Adrien. Maybe he would like her back if he knew what a great dancer she was.
