Salem is an average teenager living in a small town. He just wants to make friends, get good grades, and maybe even find a girlfriend. There's just one problem. His adoptive father, also a teacher at his school, is so protective, he won't even let him stay over at friends' houses on his own. It makes going on dates a bit of a drag, to be honest. But Salem has been surviving, and he just can't wait to get out of school so he can make it in the world on his own.
Until one day, when his life changes for the worse. He accidentally walks in on one of the teachers making a snack out of some of the students. Now, he's got a vampire hounding him for blood, not to mention every other vampire in the town is set on him now too and if his biological father finds out about all this, things are going to go straight to Hell.
