3 parts Ongoing Squeegee, a teenage stage tech at muppet studios, grapples with the fact that the muppets are being kicked aside by the higher-ups at disney. she feels as if kermit isn't doing nearly enough to fight for his family's livelihoods and home, the muppet studios lot. but suddenly, kermit announces he's taking a whole week to listen to everyone's concerns and address them individually, working very closely with the small stage crew to take their creative power back. she prepares to fight tooth and nail for change with someone she sees as an incompetent, naive, antiquated patriarch, but finds she was completely unprepared for the game plan he's got, and the ruthless family man hiding just below the surface.
i'm realizing as i write this that this sounds like i'm self shipping with kermit, i am NOT squeegee is a late teenager and kermit's like 50 and HAPPILY MARRIED!!!! there is plenty of fluffy muppet shipping in this fic but nothing nsfw and nothing weird!!!!!! this fic is also just a crap ton of old OLD oneshots that i rewrote, edited and mashed up into a kinda sorta semi-understandable narrative story? it's mostly the above summary but there's gonna be some side stories and flashbacks and what have you. idk it's all over the place tbh it's about muppets ok. also i don't know how wattpad works at all i've never been on this website before in my life so uh
