The Sugarplum Fairy and the Silver Giant

Kakeru Nakajima-now in his second year of high school-finally gives in to the incessant pleas of his best friend to join a sports team. Burdened by the past, Kakeru takes it upon himself to avoid the baseball team, instead arriving at the decision of something much more unfamiliar.

It is as result of his decision that Kakeru encounters a boy named Aoki Shotaru, who over time, with the support of the entire team, helps rekindle a certain fire that used to burn within him brighter than anything.
