Under the Horizon with You
Apollo Felix R. Salvador, a well-known person for his intellectual capacity and always being a representative in competitions outside the school, from the school Salvador Academy of La Trinidad (SALT) transferred to La Trinidad University (LTU) on his 4th year in high school. News quickly spread, people were in a frenzy.
Alyssa Celine S. De Vera-a top-performing student of LTU and a consistent student in the first section (Section A)-being a taciturn, despite her friends being loquacious, knew that Apollo transferred (from his friends) though knew nothing about him. He stalked his social media accounts, but found little to no posts at all. Just a family picture on Christmas day.
Then on a random night, the two confessed their feelings for each other. They never knew they felt the same way for each other. Unfortunately, both agreed to remain as friends-with benefits.
On their graduation, both were bummed out that they were the first batch to he put unto the Senior High School that was newly implemented.
Both parted their ways due to many enrolees in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Program that senior high school offered, led to Alyssa being in the first section; Apollo in the second. Both promised to stay in touch. Or did they?
One day, Alyssa left Apollo on read. Apollo sought Alyssa everywhere-looking for her presence. The presence that he will never experience again.
Alyssa didn't care much; Apollo cared a lot.
How will Apollo fix their relationship, even if they just remain as friends, despite the countless hindrances he has to face before conquering her girl again?
Will they have a "Happily Ever After" ending; or not?
