The last friends she had, the guys at Terminus, had gone insane, expecting her to eat innocent people with no problem. She had barely escaped with her life, and now she was on the run. She had no clue how she would make it, there was no way a 16-year-old girl could fend for herself in the wild. But what if she could? What if, even for a second, she had a sliver of hope that could prove to be the sunshine in this dark world, filled to the brim with death and destruction?

Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that.
