When seventeen year old, Jennifer Watson made a wish to meet her soulmate, she never expected to wake up in the home of a relative......from the 19th century. Nor did she expect said relative to be the famous Dr. John Watson, whom she believed was only a fictional character.

Unable to fathom fantasy from reality, Jenny is forced to blend in with the strict and high society of London in 1871, while trying to figure out how she ended up there in the first place. Upon meeting the young, rebellious and quite handsome Kyle Lancaster, she begins to forget what it was like to be in the future.

The sudden murder of a teenage orphan boy brings about the truth behind the stories of a certain consulting detective as Kyle takes the investigation into his own hands. The evidence leads Jenny to believe that maybe she's exactly where she's supposed to be.
