She was a poor five in Carolina but now that she has gotten picked her whole life changes overnight. Now instead of worrying that there will be food on her plate at dinner time she is served a five coarse meal each day, every meal. The school divides their boys from their girls. Girls in the right wing boys on the left. Although the sleeping apartments are on either side the classes are co-ed meaning both girls and boys. America never even wanted to go to this school but when she meets the famous Maxon Scheave the principle's one and only son her feelings may change.
