"You look good, I've missed your face" he says. "I've missed you too" I say daring to look up at him. He is staring right at me. He touches my hand and a spark surges through me, by the look on his face I know he felt it too. It's a tight space and I am finding it hard to breath but I don't want to stop looking in his eyes. He moves his hand up to brush a loose strand of hair behind my ear, even after all this time his touch excites me in a way I never thought was possible. "Happy birthday" I can't believe he remembered my birthday. Emily is alive but she isn't living. She's just going through the motions. She has shut out the world and the one person she needs the most. Nathan has tried to move on but really he will never be able to let her go. She completes him. When their paths cross after three years apart everything seems to fit into place but Emily's past still haunts her. Will they stand the test of time? Will Emily finally be able to lay her demons to rest once and for all? This book is a work of fiction.
