Studying is not her thing. She doesn't believe you can succeed by learning algebra or studying what happens if you neutralize acid with base. Exploring new things is all she wants to do. Freedom is all she needs.

Idling is not his thing. He's so focused on succeeding that he just wont stop studying. He has no time to party with his friends or have road trips, especially on his senior year. Learning new things is all he wants to do. Straight A's is all he needs.

But when the two meet, he's her good influence and she's his bad.
