Things go awry when he wakes up dazed, confused, and inside the game of Abaddon's Tools-- a dark place where the the light of the world is dying fast under a blanket of darkness.

(Aside: I'm not an author, nor am I really trying to be super-talented. I'm also not horribly familiar with writing in the first person. I simply wanted to mix together some themes and experiences from life with the love I have for MMORPGs and the whole trope of people finding themselves stuck in a video game. I'm making this up as I go, so I hope at least one person will enjoy the ride.)

After another manic episode, Phoenix gets written off his parents' will, and he's trying to find a reason to keep living. Causing the end of the world and being the only one who can save the world wasn't exactly what he had in mind. Phoenix wasn't meant to have magical abilities, and he most definitely shouldn't have been able to make all the money in the world disappear just by thinking about it.
