We have all heard of the Man Wolf not wanting the She wolf. Well this is a different story.  The she wolf don't want him.  
 
   "How dare you defy me?!" Xavier screams at my mother. I hide behind the self and ignore the loud painful 'SMACK' sound. "I am an Alpha. Now, you need to pay for your mates gambling problem." 
   "Alpha please.. I need all of my money for my children. Please! I need all of my money!" My mothers sobs are loud. I was sure my twin brothers were crying in there rooms. We needed every dime we had. My father had gambled every single dime away. 
  "And where is my money? What will I get? Nothing. You owe me 20k, you will pay it. " the alpha says louder. Another loud sob erupts from my mother. 
  "Alpha, please. I have six children and two are only four years old. Please.." my mother cries and I no longer can hold back my sobs. I've been living with my mother, so that way I could watch my siblings, so she could work. I try and stop crying but it doesn't help. 
   "Alpha Xzavier.. please don't take my mothers money.. take... take.." he cuts me off. 
  "Take you?" I had yet looked in his eyes. Being werewolf it was considered disrespectful. I look up shocked. "I'll take you, and she doesn't pay. " I look back at my feet. Something felt weird.Tutti i diritti riservati

This is a short story that takes place in the middle of "Orphan Wolf". It can be read independently but will have spoilers if you intend to read "Orphan Wolf"... I of course would suggest you read it and pause at the point I marked to read "Markie" but the choice is yours. Story excerpt "Come on Ryan leave me alone!" A boy yells. "You started it Francis... come on pup don't start that with me... I don't have time for this! GO HOME!" I felt the command. I see the little 8 year old boy from last night run away crying, one of Ruby's cousins. When I turn the corner I see a boy about 20 and am hit with an overpowering smell something like fresh cut wood and autumn leaves. It is amazing. I see the guy turn towards me and duck behind the house I am standing by before he sees me. Nope! Not him! Not happening! I hear footsteps coming towards me and run. Into the woods I find a pine tree. Perfect! Pine trees are great hiding places. The branches hide you visually and the smell masks your scent. I climb up as quickly as I can and watch the guy approaching. He circles my tree looking around but eventually gives up and goes back towards the houses. "Mate!" My wolf happily purs. "Not him!" I respond. "Denial." She says. "Refusal." I counter and she growls at me. "You will NOT reject him!" She orders. "He is a bully!" "He is mate!" "He commanded that kid when he could have just talked to him! He is a bully with no patience!" "He is an Alpha!" She purrs with pride at his rank. I don't care! "I don't want him!" "The one you want isn't mate. He isn't yours. He isn't interested... I want mate!" "No." I block her out and climb down the tree.

I have land I want to build on, he has the ability to actually build. With this venture we'll both gain a lot. But we want to make an agreement, you know that if a pack mates inside the lines too much they can eventually start inbreeding. We'll make a treaty of mating. A few years of that and the two packs will be stronger and with the build we'll be financially well off." I nod and swallow. "Yes, I've heard of treaties like that." "You are going to be the first we send to his pack." Fear runs through me. My kids?
