I've tried to release this pain in so many different ways; But writing about you seems to be one of my faves. I don't understand how I find closure When I know it only lasts until the poem is over. In a world where success is measured by gold, love became a puzzle, elusive and cold. She longed to fill the emptiness inside, yearning for a soulmate to stand by her side. With flaws laid bare, she sought to be seen, a heart so raw, a soul between. Then came a love, strong and true, a resilient spirit, their bond grew. Magnetic, captivating, they intertwined, easing the burdens that weighed her mind. For the first time, love felt real, in his embrace, her wounds could heal. To Be Broken
What does it mean to be broken? (I wrote this poem myself) ______________________________ Why be sad? When no one knows how bad You feel your Pain makes you sore. Why be mad? When no one can tell How hard you fell How it hurts MORE than a tad. Why be happy? Be like all those sappy People pretending to be What they want you to see. Why be frightened? Senses heightened Screaming, As sick people are beaming. Why be tired? When no one knows How your wired How you grow. Why be honest? When all known is a broken promise When no one believes you Even if what you say is true. Why hurt? When no one feels your pain When no one's ever alert When you never feel sane. Why pretend? When you know in the end No one will be there Because no one cares. Why care? When no one cares enough for you To know what your going through They think your heart is unfair. Why try? When no one sees that you do They just pry Thinking they know more than you. Why speak? When no one will ever hear They'll say you're a freak They don't see a single tear. Why do anything at all? A Forever That Lasted
"Everything I need is here," he whispered in my ear. I looked into his eyes, only to see me in them. He pulled me closer; we were just inches away from each other his breath was fanning my face. I could hear our heart beat in a rhythm, being this close to him; I could feel his heart hammering in his chest. His grip tightened around my waist as he placed his other hand on my cheek. My hands were on his chest, holding his shirt which seemed like my only support as my knees felt like jelly! It seemed so magical. We were so lost in each other, he leaned closer and my eyes shut automatically. As soon as his lips met mine, a thousand fire crackers started bursting in my head, there were goosebumps on my skin and butterflies in my stomach. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Should you tolerate anything in a relationship just to make it work or because he's your first love? Because sometimes, for a FOREVER you will have to fall in love all over again..Concluida
