Separated By a Wall
August 14, 3044. It was a future where humans didn't have to advance because technology did all the work for them. A future where children couldn't visit their parents after a certain age and you barely know the route through your own house because your teleporting from the bedroom to the kitchen. A world where you're practically mind controlled. It wasn't always like this. Humans used to have diversity and freedom to think for themselves. But on August 14th, 3044 a new species called the Anoch landed on our planet. The humans immediately categorized them as a threat and split the world into two halves by a stone wall. Humans on one side, Anoch on the other. Everyone seems to have adjusted to this change and go on with life as if everything was normal. But not me. I was only six when it happened. It's now the year 3054 and I still find it all strange. The new life the humans have been forced to live. The way the Anoch are treated as if they're some sort of experiment. And it seems like I'm the only one who cares enough to find the truth. I'm the one who snuck out. And you wouldn't believe what I found behind the wall.Complete
Moon Wish
When I was little, I believed in magic, the kind with an enchanted fairy godmother and the power of making wishes. These beliefs began to wither with every unanswered wish. They disappeared completely when I made my final wish, a moon wish. The black cloud that has followed me since that day has only gotten thicker and darker over the years; it's so dense that it is starting to obscure everything. I can't see the sky at all. It's been so long since I've seen any light, I've forgotten what it felt like to walk in it. Lost in the dark, an accident brings me a glimmer of it. To appreciate the light, you have to endure the dark.

Different- 1) Not the same as another, or each other; Unlike in nature, form or quality. I thought being different was a good thing. You know, the whole 'Im not conforming to you' deal. I thought I was unique, my own person. Apparently not everyone thinks being different is a good thing. They're afraid of my difference. Maybe it's my long white hair? Or my glowing silver eyes? I have a secret that I don't share with most. I've been swept up into something bigger than anything I could ever imagine, and now I'm involved with more than just this one world.
