Every year, when an Amazon boy reaches the age of 18, they must prove their worth to the past queens of the Queendom of Scythia, a place once called America. They must do so by going deep into the Boreal Forest in a place that was once known as Alaska. If these men can kill the beast hidden amongst the trees or survive for three months in the forest, he is worthy of Amazonian respect. If a boy refuses this challenge, he is marked as a coward, remains as the lowest social structures and shunned from his family. This year is no exception. The young princess, Asteria, has now turned queen. Her mother Phoebe, wishes her to take a prince consort. Asteria, very reluctant towards this, refuses. But when her mother gets assaulted and killed, she wishes upon her daughter to find love. Asteria, though still bitter towards the idea, promises her mother she will try to take on a consort. Throughout the country, word spreads of the young queen's plan to find a husband. A competition will be held for one hundred and eight males of the ages 18 through 21. For Seamus Knight, this was the chance of a lifetime, as for many other young males. What they did not know was that Asteria would do anything in her power to keep these boys from taking her power. Every one of them would enter the forest where the queen would spectate with watchful eyes. Welcome to the Hunt.
