Do you believe in miracles? Well Aryna Alden never thought that miracles do happen. Two things that happened which made her told herself that there weren't such thing as 'Happy Ending'. First, ever since her father left her mum, left her whole family for another, she thought everything would crumble into pieces. A father figure was well important in a family. She had to help her mum to support the family so she took part as a part time tutor; a smart girl indeed. Second, after she thought her 'happily ever after' was coming true when she met her one true love, he broke her heart into myriad pieces. Aryna lost hope in happiness; in her 'Happy Ending'. She was no longer the quiet innocent girl that everyone knew; maybe she was, in front of her Mum but not in the school grounds. She was the rowdy one that ruled the school and had all the boys lingering around her finger. But what will happen when there came a mysterious person who keeps dropping her letters in the form of...Paper Cranes? Will he ever show up and will she ever get a miracle of believing her very own 'Happy Ending'?

There are rules. A lot of rules. Always look your best. Always stand up straight. Never walk flat footed. Always be polite. And never, under any circumstances, use sarcasm. Mother added that last rule after I learned to speak. This was the life I, Genevieve Rosemary Rochester of Chestwood was living. At least, I was until my father grew very, very ill and I was sent on a quest, with some boy I barely knew, clear across the land by my Fairy Godmother to locate ingredients for a potion to heal him. And yes, I have a Fairy Godmother, but more on that later. So, one shaving of a unicorn's horn. One chip from the troll's bridge. And one drop of dragon's blood. All to be mixed by the land's one and only wizard. Oh, and did I mention I had to be back with the potion before midnight in three days? And so, I began my journey with no one but William Porter, a boy whom I had just met, even though I was already betrothed to a jerk of a prince, and my trusty steed, Wesley, who was the closest thing I've ever had to a friend. As you can tell, the odds weren't exactly in our favor, but if it meant saving my father's life, then I'm all for it. Once upon a time...
