The United States has met its demise. A new country has risen, the United Peoples of America, designed to bring peace and prosperity to its people through extensive military work. The work put forth by the military has resulted in a country nearly ridden of poverty, of homelessness, and of hunger and disease. The birth of this nation sparked a New Renaissance in the arts, in science, and in mathematics. One of the results was the creation of time travel, but that is where problems arise. There are rebels. Anarchists who call themselves the Free People, who will stop at nothing to take the time travel devices and research for themselves due to their belief that their deceased loved ones can be brought back. They believe that the time travel is the key to immortality, and nothing, not even death, will stop their fight. Nineteen year old Tobias Grey is in the military, he has been all his life. His father, Orion Grey, is the Commander of the Antarctic military territory for the UPA. Tobias is his apprentice, successor to his role. But that is where their connection stops. Following the mysterious death of his mother, the former second in command Selyse Augustine, Tobias's life has been riddled with challenges, including his father's sudden snap in behavior, and the abusiveness and anger that followed. Then, just four months before his planned succession after his 20th birthday, it seems Orion has finally succumbed to his grief out of nowhere, in the form of forcing Tobias back in time. The result could prove fatal. Or it could reveal things that no one, not even time, could have predicted. Copyright Madisen Nicole Cover designed by: Me

Orion Scatterstar X is a highly intelligent boy of seventeen with peculiar natural green hair and oddly bright purple eyes... and he's on the run with his mother. The only problem...? He has no idea as to why it is this way. His only clue is that it's all somehow related to his absentee father who is as big of a enigma to him as are the peculiar, mostly illegal and sometimes downright appalling and borderline psychotic 'lessons' his mother keeps subjecting him to. He hides in plain sight by pretending to be normal or average with a different name and appearance in every new place they move to within just a few months as per his mother's rules but as he's gotten older, he's come to think about it all to be nothing more than his mother's paranoia as it's significantly becomes harder and harder to play this game. So, at the verge of turning eighteen and graduating, he finally decides to put his foot down and run far away from all this craziness so that he can finally be free and be who he truly is and have a normal life... like he's always wished. But as the saying goes, 'be careful what you wish for.' He soon finds that his mother's paranoia was not unreasonable. When an unexpected stranger shows up as a substitute teacher at his new school, his entire existence flips upside-down. Truths about who and what he really is, are finally out but now he has to navigate a treacherous and dangerous path where friendship and loyalty are illusions, good is bad and up is down to save himself and everyone else as a prince's life is never simple, especially during war. Not to mention a war against his very own psychotic paternal family. Amidst deception, being constantly hunted and discovering immeasurable power within himself, holding on to his humanity seems harder and harder for his already shaky sense of morals, making him lose bits of himself in the process. Can he survive his new reality unscathed or will it be his undoing?
