Whatever Dare or Asha tells you, humans are not evil! Some Pokemon seriously like Pokeballs and trainers. I do! So does Dare, now that I think about it. But Asha hates them with all her heart. And it's really starting to get on my nerves.

Okay, so maybe the bad guy here is a human, but so what? She just happens to be a human! I'm sure there's a Pokemon out there that's as bad as her!

Well, no. I really don't think anyone could be as bad as her.

And, you know, this journey wouldn't be so difficult if she didn't send Zekrom after us. He could jump out at any moment to kidnap us. Even with my Inner Eye and Asha's aura sense, we can never be completely sure where he is.

But the worst thing that's happened so far is our friendships. Asha doesn't trust any of us except for Dare. Gardevoir, the Pokemon I've barely known for a week, seems to be a better friend than Dare's ever been. Sapphire is suddenly snappy at everyone, even Shadow. And Julie kind of makes us all uncomfortable.

I'm Aurora. And I'm suddenly starting to think that there's no trust around here.

"Bullshit." Cillian's eyes flashed black at my outburst, and I saw his body shaking to control his wolf from lashing out at me. I didn't back down. I rolled my shoulders back and glared up at him. "Excuse me?" "I call bullshit. You're hiding something, I can tell. Now tell me the truth - could this be Alpha Howard?" I asked again, taking a step towards him. He was easily a foot taller than me, but I didn't let his height intimidate me. "Stop calling him that." Cillian snapped, a growl erupting from his chest, "he is not your Alpha anymore." "And you are?" ----- Finley grew up surrounded by werewolves that took every opportunity to remind her of her human mortality. Despite her many attempts to stand up to them, escape, or fight back, the Alpha of the pack has claimed her as his, and he wasn't letting her go. But when a pack of rogues attack, Finley sees a chance for escape, and she doesn't think twice before taking it. Once she's finally made it into the world outside of the only pack she'd every known, Finley was left to survive on her own in the woods. But when she's found by a neighboring pack and discovers she has a mate, Finley starts to realize that life outside of her pack isn't as glamorous as she had hoped. The new pack takes her in, but she's thrown into a world of mates, werewolf politics, and wars that Finley doesn't want to be a part of. Werewolves can feel the mate bond that's meant to bring them together, but Finley doesn't feel the same sparks. It's supposed to be her destiny to be with her mate, but she can't help but feel like she doesn't fit into his world. Could fate have made a mistake pairing them together? Can Finley really find happiness with her new mate, or is she meant to be somewhere else? Or with someone else? Updating Every M/W/F!

I crossed my arms. "Lemme guess. You'd do anything to see him happy," I mocked. "She's delusional. I'm helping Arven's partner. Of course, he's happy about seeing Mabosstiff getting better, and I'm happy I'm helping their relationship and helping someone feel better." My Pokémon blinked at each other, clearly knowing something I didn't. "'Doing something crazy'. Do you think fighting titans for an incredibly powerful herb is crazy?" I asked Quaxwell. He nodded immediately, and I scoffed. I sat down at the edge of my bed and chuckled. "Her and her insane scenarios. When Mabosstiff fully heals, would Arven be the type of person to take time out of a wonderful moment to turn to me, reach out his hands to grab both of mine, look me in the eyes...." I felt my cheeks crack a smile as I thought about him again, the few times I've seen him completely break through his threatening persona and brighten the entire room with his sweet and excited energy. "He has such brilliant, stunning, shimmery eyes. I've never seen such a lovely turquoise color in all my life." I held my own hand and grazed my thumb with my other, deep in the fantasy. "He'd give me that adorable little laugh he did earlier today and tell me: 'You're amazing, Lugosi. I mean that. I'm so happy I met you...." I froze in realization. My Pokémon were all wearing a look of disappointment with how long it took me to figure it out. "Great Arceus... I have a crush on Arven." ❥๑━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━๑❥ Pure romance. No lemons, no smut, the only curse word used is "damn" and the a-word once but otherwise, completely kid-friendly. Cover by me :) ❥๑━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━๑❥
