Selene Cunningham is not your average ten year old girl. Even though she comes from an affluent family of doctors and scholars with the world potentially at her feet, there are unexplainable and despicable occurrences that happen behind closed doors.
None of it makes sense to her and she withholds everything from her unsuspecting parents until she receives a mysterious letter on her eleventh birthday.
This was the letter that changed everything and revealed a world that Selene never knew existed.
It was that very letter that revealed she had been living a lie for her entire life.
