A fictional story about some high school students who deal with some pretty cool paranormal creatures and dimensional leaping. Sound cool to you? Anyway, this actually is just the script for what is to become podcasts. This a science fiction and fantasy (mostly fantasy) story. Creator: Friend or Foe?
This story began as a NaNoWriMo 2012 work, with no planning, and even less idea of plot. I learned from that experience that I am not a 'pantser' -and spent about 20 painful months trying to turn my stream-of-consciousness 3-stories-in-one into one coherent novel, following the timeline and events in the Book of Genesis. I discovered that that is not a great way to build a plot. I ended after 5 more drafts, at about 60k words. There is another draft on my blog, slightly longer, a bit more experimental. The Children of Destiny
¡TW! Character death, child abuse, child death, war, gore, violence, mentioned racism(ish) ¡TW! (If any of these themes upset you, you don't have to read this!) Evander, a young boy who was supposedly kicked out of his tribe and raised by flying snake-tailed lions basically his entire life, finds out that he and another kid are part of a very important prophecy that could stop the big war that's going on. Before he does anything, however, he has to find the other child of the prophecy before anyone else does to fulfill the prophecy. Will the perilous journey through tribe territory get him killed because of his so-called "dangerous" abilities or will he survive long enough to see the war finally come to an end as he's always hoped it would? Adventure Awaits: Tales of Elementia
In a world called "Elementia", brimming with magic and mystery, two young heroes embark on a journey by their friend/ King of Elementia, as they sail the seas, traverse the skies, and last but not least... Travel throughout the Hidden Lands that their world hides from them. As the two heroes traverse these new lands together, they face new challenges, testing their might and magic, facing the cold truth and harsh reality, and learning the forgotten history that once lay while darkness, faces their every path they walk. Will this evil be the end of their adventure to new lands? Or what will lie ahead of them in the coming future? Or will Fate and Destiny change the course of their story? That is up to both FS and Nancy to seek... As they seek that very answer before them.
