The Federation has been attacked twice by the same man. On a quest for revenge, Captain James T. Kirk takes the Enterprise and her crew to capture the assailant, John Harrison.
But because he can't face the man without the urge to kill him, Kirk sends his twin sister, Lily, to him. It's only when Lily and Harrison talk that things don't add up and she (along with the crew) suspect something, or someone else, is at play.
But Harrison has plans of his own, and Lily, somehow, managed to become part of those plans. A bond is strengthened and someone from the past appears for someone in this intensified and slightly dramatic sequel.
