After an attempted assination of the King of Luxemburg and his family, the Trossens, the royal family, must move out of their country to stay alive. They move to a small town outside of Nashville in Tennessee and begin a new life. Adelaide, the 17 year old princess, struggles to make friends and fit in to her new culture, and get acustomed to not having the perks of being royality. Beau Jackson, a charming southern teen befriends Addy, and helps her adapt to life in America. Beau introduces Addy to the typical teenage ways in the United States, and they begin a budding romance. But just as the Trossens begin to enjoy their new lifestyle, their assisins come after them in America and they must fight to save their lives, again. And Beau must fight to keep Addy with him.
