Lauren Jauregui has always been the "it" girl at Truman High. She's beautiful, with a smile that lights up the hallways, and with kindness famous throughout the school. So, when Lauren doesn't show up for the first day of her senior year, news travels fast that she's been diagnosed with a very serious and aggressive cancer. Lauren returns to school angry and withdrawn, a shell of the girl she used to be. Camila Cabello, a girl with very few friends of her own, is soon partnered with Lauren for an English project.
