At age ten, Amaya Faye dreams of competing in her sport, gymnastics, at the Special Olympics. Despite being legally blind, Amaya loves gymnastics more than anything else in the world. When Amaya's family runs into financial problems, Amaya's parents are no longer able to pay for her gymnastics. After begging for a 50% discount on her gymnastics-related fees, Amaya's coaches promise Amaya a year's worth of gymnastics for free if Amaya earns a 10.0 on her worst event, bars. Will Amaya win a year of free gymnastic, or will she fall short of her coach's challenge?
