My name is Alec, for the entirety of my life I've lived in the flying city called Libertia City (better known as the Steam City). This unconventional refuge full of old machinery people once knew as steam machines and the likes was created centuries ago, when mankind succeeded in destroying their own habitat due to their own stupidity.

The remaining survivors of the following catastrophies built and settled upon this enormous flying mechanical wonder of a city, leaving the wasteland once known as Earth's surface behind. Despite our survival for centuries, the fear of our new home being destroyed still lingers on. A fear that may not be too far of reality, because at the end of the day the Steam city is, and always will be, a temporary solution.
