Trapped in an abusive relationship, Serena clings to the one place that brings her peace-PIB, short for Poetry Is Beauty. The slam poetry venue becomes her sanctuary, a space where words offer the escape she desperately needs when Calvin's anger turns to violence. One evening, as she seeks refuge among the verses, she meets Michael-a stranger whose presence feels unexpectedly warm and safe. As their conversations unfold, Serena begins to see a glimpse of something she thought she'd lost: hope. But breaking free from her past won't be easy.
