Lost, Not Gone - A Sonic Fan Fiction Long Overdue

As any good sonic fan/player/viewer should know, the Sonic series has dished out quite a few very memorable side characters; however, some of these only show up for certain arcs, and as soon as that arc is over, are written out of Sonic lore. After beginning to re-watch the Sonic X series, I realized that three particular characters are, at least to me, not solidly written out. These characters either disappeared, shut down, or were out of view when what we assumed was their death occurred. I am speaking of the three Sonic X side characters Shadow, the Hedgehog; E-102 Gamma; and Emerl. This story does not include the Metarex Arc.
In this, I am going to do my own interpretation of the continuation of their stories. As I continue to re-watch the series, I may add more to this list. Don't take this as one of those, "But they were alive and everyone was happy to see them" fan fictions. I am writing this with the most realistic outcome of their continued stories that I can. All characters portrayed belong in full rights to SEGA. Though the stories written here are my own, the original lore they are based off of, as well as Sonic X, Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, and Sonic Battle all belong in turn to SEGA.

He held the book against his chest as if his life depended on it. He had promised, he wouldn't let go of it. His breath was heavy and ragged, the smoke filling his lungs intrusively. Green eyes snapped everywhere, looking desperately for an exit. He jumped when his back met the thick wall behind him, his eyes landing on the awful smoky creature. "Pathetic." the figure said, making a shiver run up Sonic's spine." Sonic Otherworlds
It was a normal day for our speedy blue hedgehog and his pals. Eating a chili dog, running around green hill and destroying Eggman's plans like usual. Everything was okay until suddenly, Silver came back from the future and warned everyone that something worst was coming, not just the Chaos Emerald, but the Sol Emeralds and the Master Emerald. Worse than Black Doom or anyone they fought before. Mephiles The Dark has return with new powers and sinister allies that could destroy what Sonic, and everyone been fighting for. Before they could start their search on Chaos Emeralds and fight Mephiles again, the Master Emerald glows up and spoke to them. He told them to find someone who would help them to defeat Mephiles and everything will be restored. Before they could ask, the Master Emerald glows up and teleporting the entire world of Sonic to another world. A mysterious yet magical world where mirrored their world but differently. That's where they meet new allies with special abilities and other creatures as the search for the Chaos Emeralds again who was got spread away. Will they find the person they are looking for and stop Mephiles from destroying everything? (This story is based on Sonic Prime and Sonic X Shadow Generations).

'Common Enemy' [Sonic 3 Inspired Fic]
Having come from Mobius, a once thought-to-be fictional world in which all of the Classic "Sonic The Hedgehog" characters live, a new super-powered, female Hedgehog arrives on Earth, looking to run away as she was being tracked down by echidna warriors. She soon finds herself hiding amongst the forests of what she later learns is "Green Hills" Montana before being spotted by another Hedgehog. As well as his family consisting of a two-tailed fox, echidna and two humans. Tom and Maddie. They get to know each other a bit, explaining each other's stories before being grouped together by an organization titled "G.U.N." and introduced to a new common enemy amongst the newly formed underdogs group, Shadow The Hedgehog. The group all go through highs and lows to keep this new common enemy at bay before a saddening past is revealed. The new female hedgehog makes it her new mission to keep this new enemy, who is swayed by heartbreak and pain and being used for something far greater beyond just simple revenge, at bay with hardened banter, endless ass-kicking and terrible, downright awful flirting and talk-me-downs before being discovered to hold a great power, one similar to the black and red hedgehog she was tasked to keep busy alongside others. Then, a new, odd, love-hate relationship starts to form between the two hedgehogs. A family bounded from different worlds by love
A Sonic X AU based on two fanfics, the Sonic Movie fanfic "Just Took a Bit Longer to Find My Way Home" and the Sonic X one "Letting Go of Hope" The movie characters are in this fic. As in Tom, Maddie, Wade, Randall, Rachal and Jojo. It's still like the same timeline as the episodes, but Sonic, at some point, decides to stay with Tom and Maddie, given the parent-child bond. After Sonic and his friends got separated, the blue hedgehog finds himself in a warehouse and was tortured there for 6 months (like in Forces). After he finally escaped, he passed out in an area of a garage, where two humans took him in, after he woke up and explained everything. A special bound between him and the couple blooms when he decides to stay here, slowly recovering. But when discovering that he wasn't the only one on Earth, he starts searching for his friends with the help of his current ones. Join Sonic and his friends, new and old, as they start looking for the Chaos Emeralds and stop Dr Eggman.
