During one of his swims La'gaan past by an aquarium that looked out towards the ocean, but it wasn't the fish that caught his eye. Swimming with the fish was a girl who seemed to be at home, even though she wasn't an Atlantean. The two talk and Soon start a relationship, but there's something this girl has left out. Jessica Lake is suppose to be dead.

Jessica was brought back by the power of dark Atlantean magic. Brought back to help get rid of the King of Atlantis, Arthur Curry, also known as Aquaman or King Orin. The ones who brought her back was the disgraced Ocean Master and the Sea Witch Ursula, but what's their connection with Jessica?
