My childhood was a blur. I can't remember much of it, just emotions and colors. Abstract things. My earliest memory was when I was about nine years old. I remember screams, and tears. All around me my city was burning, up in flames. I wandered in the crumbling city, lost and confused. My family was nowhere to be seen. Then, the sky set aflame. The fire was green, and the heat was so intense that I couldn't think, couldn't see. My skin blistered, and I crawled away from the flame and into a building. It was a small house, and most of it was broken down. At least there was shelter from the flame. I sat curled up in the corner, crying. What was happening? Where was my family? "Mom... dad... Vera... " I sobbed. "Tirus?" A voice rasped. "I'm here, Tirus." I ran over to a pile of rubble where Vera sat, buried. Her blonde hair was covered in dust and blood. "Vera..." I attempted to remove the rocks that were pinning her down, but they were bigger than I was. "Don't... Tirus, go hide." "No, I can't leave you!" Vera looked at me sadly. "If you don't go, you'll die. Please, go run! Go hide!" "No!" Tears streamed down my face. Vera's breaths became shallow and forced. She stared into the distance, eyes glazed over. "Tirus..." She said as she gasped one last breath of air, then she stopped.

The valorant protocol, an elite group of the best humanity has to offer. Consisting of humans and radiant's alike, they are the forefront of earth's defence to stop threats both in world... and out. A second universe (dubbed earth 2) has opened a portal to invade and pillage Earth 1 of all its radianite without regard for the devestation they bring, leaving earth 1 to suffer the loss of its leading energy source. Earth 2, a world in which radiants revolted and overthrew the humans. Those who were slaughtered were considered lucky to the resistance as the alternative was to be forcefully converted to radiants through a process only known by the highest of the radiants. The resistance was a group of humans (lead by commander brimstone) that fought back against the radiants but, unfortunately, they were snuffed out until all that remained was a small group consisting of 5 humans and a robot specifically made to combat the unnatural power of radiants. In an effort to stop the radiants plans of invading another dimension, this group attacked the portal site in hopes of shutting the gateway down. However... they failed. Among his fallen team, y/n glared at the leader of the radiants as he sat bleeding out in the dirt. "Look me in the eyes human. This is the last thing you'll ever see, a reminder of your failure" "..." "No final words? hmph, your choice" *BANG* _______________________________________________________ "How am I alive?" "Our healer revived you, you should consider yourself lucky she found you so soon. 5 minutes later and you would have experienced brain death" "A radiant saved me? hmph, should have just left me" "your opinion on radiants is unimportant to me. You come from the dimension that is invading us, you've fought against those that are invading us. I could do with that expertise" "You want me to fight for you?" "No... I want you to fight WITH me" "... my fight ended when that bullet went through my head" "Hmmm.. we'll see about that"
