Iduna Swan was never meant to live in Forks, Washington.

Her life was supposed to be a simple one, far away from her Uncle Charlie and his daughter, Bella. She was supposed to spend her days in her garden, listening to nature, working at the local flower shop, but with the illness of her mother, Iduna goes to the place she swore never to return to.

The place where her father died and she lived.

The place where a golden-haired angel decided to save her life.

But Forks isn't just the home to her worst memory. It's also home to a dark secret that she's sworn to protect. The same secret that was behind her father's death all those years ago.

------
A Carlisle Cullen fanfiction that is also a retelling of a norse myth. The only reason this is a fanfiction is because I can't be bothered to make it an original yet.

Later on, there probably will be an original version that I'll write.

"You're different from what I expected," she said softly. "How so?" he asked, glancing at her. "I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare." He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that." OR Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
