My inspiration for "Manuel" is based on the #1 man in my life, my dad. As I sat on the porch swing chatting with my dad about how he, himself, is the basis for the father figure of this story & how my only dilemma was choosing a fitting name for this beloved character; He paused, smiled & softly said "pon le Manuel" - name him Manuel. My Uncle Manuel was my father's older brother who tragically passed away as a young adult. The tribute to him not only honors the memories we have of him but forever allows my dad to live on through these pages.

Been working on a story since 2014. Bilingual story. All words in Spanish are translated. Thinking in movie format, I have added some song suggestions to some scenes. Had some major changes throughout such as characters names etc so if you catch any mistakes, I'd appreciate a heads up.
