The Remnants of Emperor Palpatine
THERE IS GOING TO BE MaJoR TROS SpOpLErS IN THIS FANFICTION. DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN The Rise of Skywalker. I do NOT own Star Wars(but wouldn't that be cool?) Following the events after The Last Jedi. "Just a dream, it was just a dream," she says aloud attempting to calm herself, but the feeling doesn't dissipate, and her heart is still racing. "When are you going to realize you're bound to me?!" Kylo roared, his voice echoing from his mask. His words caught her off guard for a moment before she felt all the blood rush to her face at once. "I never signed up for any of it!" She screamed back angrily. Within seconds his voice invaded her mind. "Like hell you didn't!" Rey's eyes widened as Kylo ran towards her full speed ripping his helmet off, the rain soaking his hair and face. She gasped as his hand came around her and gripped the back of her neck, pulling her into an angry kiss. Shock radiated through her whole body, paralyzing her legs. She gripped his arms as they caged her, keeping her from escaping. "I'd be damned if I let you slip through my fingers again." ~*~Summary~*~ Set after the events of Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. Rey is sent by General Organa on an important mission to infiltrate the First Order from within, feed helpful information to the General and bring Ben Solo home. In order for the mission to succeed, Rey has to do something she never imagined herself doing. It seemed like an understatement almost. He needed her. Every second that Rey wasn't with him felt like torture. He couldn't let her know that. He also desperately clung to the darkness. His darkness was what fueled him and what kept him going. He couldn't possibly give that up. The girl was a conundrum. "Liar," Rey whispered. She crossed the distance between them. Now, they were only a few inches apart, separated by the bars of the cell. "You're right," he smiled. Yet again, it didn't reach his eyes. Rey was right. He could barely stand to be someone he wasn't. But his past called for him. "I am a liar. A manipulative beast." He reached out and tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear. "You would do well to stay away." She stepped back. She had felt a jolt of something when he touched her. Like she was being set on fire, but she loved it. "St- Stay away from me," she stuttered.
